It all started when…

Our clients reached out to us to assist them with better targeting their customers with relevant marketing communication.

We utilized k-means clustering to group their consumers based on 19 demographic attributes and 15 transaction attributes.

Using this method we created 5 consumer clusters that allowed our client to market to each group based on past purchase history and demographic similarities.

·     Cluster #1 – Purchase mostly basic systems

·     Cluster #2 – Wealthy/Affluent

·     Cluster #3 – North/North East

·     Cluster #4 – Highest Rev/Buyer

·     Cluster #5 – 100% Online
